Mission: Strengthening the Nation with Sustainable Economic Empowerment Programming
The mission of the National Financial Educators Council is to strengthen financial wellbeing across the UK by developing long-term, sustainable programmes that can grow and deliver meaningful results within local communities. Our aim is to expand access to high-quality financial education and support initiatives that create lasting economic opportunity for individuals and families. To achieve this, our work is guided by three key priorities:
Pillar 1: Expanding Access and Building Sustainable Financial Education Programmes
We provide the training, resources, staffing support, and practical guidance needed to establish and grow effective financial wellbeing programmes. By helping communities develop scalable initiatives, we aim to ensure that more people across the UK can access trusted financial education.
Pillar 2: Promoting Financial Capability and Economic Empowerment
We work to increase awareness of the value of financial education and encourage wider participation in financial learning. This includes supporting the integration of financial literacy in schools, encouraging families to engage children in conversations about money, and helping individuals strengthen their financial knowledge and confidence.
Pillar 3: Building Partnerships to Support Community Financial Wellbeing
Creating sustainable change requires collaboration. We bring together local leaders, organisations, stakeholders, and community groups to support the delivery of financial wellbeing initiatives and encourage collective action among those committed to strengthening their communities.
